PURPOSE:To facilitate the diagnosis of the fault recovering function of a data processor by producing a pseudo fault in a specific working state of a device. CONSTITUTION:A pseudo fault generator 5 produces a pseudo fault only when a pseudo fault production permitting signal 20 is equal to 1 at the production of a pseudo fault production request signal 10. Thus the pseudo faults can be produced at random only in a specific working state of a device as long as a random signal is selected as the signal 10. Furthermore the pseudo faults can be also produced regardless of the working state of the device as long as the signal 10 serving as the output of a comparator 3 is masked. |
