PURPOSE:To eliminate variation of characteristics due to changes of humidity of colored fine particles almost completely and to improve cleaning effect of a toner comprising the colored fine particles by heating colored spherical particles obtd. by a suspension-polymerization under specified conditions, then disintegrating the particles. CONSTITUTION:Colored spherical fine particles having 1-100mum average particle size which have been prepd. by a suspension polymn. are heated at 30-200 deg.C to obtain a blocked product by fusing the particles to each other, then, the product is disintegrated to spherical particles of the average particle size before they are fused. The colored spherical fine particles are obtd. by a suspension polymn. of a polymerizable monomer mixed with a colorant, and the particles have 1-100, pref. 3-50, more pref. 3.5-20mum particle size. Thus, a toner having improved cleaning effect, providing always picture images having superior picture quality contg. no fog under any conditions of environment without being influenced by the humidity, is obtd. |
