PURPOSE:To utilize the unit for any application of a headphone and a microphone by constituting the unit that the unit having a reversible electroacoustic conversion characteristic is formed to a size inserted and held in an ear drum. CONSTITUTION:The headphone unit 1 having the reversible electroacoustic transducing characteristic is constituted to a size inserted and held in the ear concha. A case front plate 3 provided with lots of sound holes is provided to the front face of the unit 1. An ear concha inserting and holding fixture 8 or an ear hole inserting and holding fixture inserted and held in the ear hole is provided to the rear face of the other unit 1. In using the unit as the headphone, the part covered with an ear pad 4 is inserted and held in the ear concha and an input/output plug 11 is connected to a headphone jack of a tape recorder. On the other hand, in using the unit as the microphone, the ear concha insertion and holding fixture 8 having the ear pad 10 is inserted in the ear concha and the input/output plug 11 is connected to the microphone jack.
