摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent color stain after development and to improve shelf stability by incorporating a specified compd. into at least one of the coupler-free layers of a silver halide sensitive material or the support. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of compd. forming a chemically inert and practically colorless compd. by chemical bonding to an arom. amine developing agent remaining after color development or the oxidized product thereof at pH<=8 is incorporated into at least one of the coupler-free layers of a silver halide sensitive material or the support. Color stain due to the remaining arom. amine developing agent or the oxidized product thereof does not practically occur and shelf stability is improved.
