PURPOSE:To improve charge-discharge characteristics so that the cell can be safely used in a wide temperature range by using a specific lamellar structure oxide as a positive electrode active material and lithium or lithium alloy as a negative electrode active material and a specific compound complexed with lithium salt as an electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:A lamellar structure oxide expressed by Formula I is used as a positive electrode active material, lithium or lithium alloy is used as a negative active material and oligoethylene oxypolyphosphagen having alkyl groups which the segments expressed by Formulas II, III and IV arbitrarily arrange or a mixture of them complexed with lithium salt is used as an electrolyte. However, in Formula I, x+y=1, 0<y<=0.5, Z=0.1-1.6, and A = oxide selected from GeO2, SiO2, etc. In Formulas II, III and IV, R = a simple or mixture of methyl, ethyl, etc., and h and k mean an average number of repetitions of an ethylene oxy unit, and a real value of 0<=h<=15, 0<=k<=15 is adopted, and l, m and n are positive integers within the range of 3<=l+m+n<=200000 and nnot equal to 0. Thereby, it is possible to eliminate formation of dendrite and liquid spill, and improve safety from rupture, etc., and resistance to overdischarge. |
