PURPOSE:To reduce erroneous prints and to improve the operability and reliability of a video printer by discriminating the presence or absence of an image input signal and image output when a memory key input is given to write the image input signal in an image memory, and discriminating the data of the image memory by a print key input to apply the image data to a printer. CONSTITUTION:Control means 4 has write means 5 for writing an image input signal in an image memory 1 by identifying whether an image input signal is present and whether the image input signal is image outputting when an input is applied to a memory key 15a, and print control means 6 for applying the image data to a printer 2 by identifying whether the data of the image memory 1 is the image data or not by the input of a print key 15c. Thus, when the memory key 15a is input, the presence or absence of the input signal and the state of the video signal are checked to write the input video desired to be printed out effectively in the image memory 1, and when the print key 15c is input, the data written in the image memory 1 is confirmed, and the print out is then conducted. Accordingly, indefinite data is not printed out. |
