PURPOSE:To enable automatic adjustment of paces for each desired cycle of a watch by feed back control of a time counting frequency in synthesization of time signals with a correction value for gaining or losing in time calculated based on a measuring error signal according to a detection value of environmental conditions. CONSTITUTION:Checking a specified input with an interval of one week or the like provided from an automatic input identification circuit 325 for gaining or losing in time, a date counter 1467 of an automatic fast/slow adjustment circuit 326 detects a measuring period of one week or the like and outputs a low level signal as soon as 7 days of elapse is detected with a gate 1487. Being controlled by the output, errors in second per week by a counting circuit 1466, an arithmetic counting circuit 1465 and the like for memorizing a set value corresponding to environmental conditions such temperature in a mechanism 1468 for measuring time errors in divided by the measuring time of one week to calculate a correction value for gaining or losing in time based on measured errors signal. The time counting frequency is feed-back controlled in synthesization of time counting signals with the correction value thereby enabling automatic adjustment of a watch at an inteval of desired cycle of one week. |
