PURPOSE:To prevent a cutter and the content of a package from being in contact with each other by forming a loose part in a packing material by the suction force from the suction opening of a vacuum duct and cutting to open said packing material with a cutter above said suction opening. CONSTITUTION:When a package 1 is moved to a suction opening 3o, tensile force acts on a packing material 2 wound around the package 1 by a vacuum to impart tension to said packing material 2 and a baggy loose part 2a is formed on the upper face of the package 1. The baggy loose parts 2a are formed in the packing material 2 continuously in the longitudinal direction of the length of the package 1 by the movement of the package 1. Therefore, the packing material 2 can be axially cut to open with the movement of the package 1 by rotating a cutter 4 located above the baggy loose part 2a of the package 1 with a slight interval. |
