<p>PURPOSE:To heat the piezoelectric cable when it is drawn out from a winch so as to restore the cable to its memory shape for preventing it from being curled by the winch by providing a core wire made of a shape memory alloy in the piezoelectric cable. CONSTITUTION:A towing piezoelectric cable (x) includes a piezoelectric layer 2 made from piezoelectric organic materials on which an electrode 3 is disposed, and a core wire 1 made of a shape memory alloy is disposed in the cable. The shape memory alloy 1 is previously caused to memory its linear shape and the cable (x) is heated while being drawn out from a winch (z), so that the cable restores to its linear memory shape. Thus the piezoelectric cable will not be curled even while being taken up by the winch (z) and can be drawn out straight.</p> |
