<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a word processor by mounting a lighting unit only on a position requiring lighting on a word processor body as a selectable accessory. CONSTITUTION:Since a lighting unit 4 can be attachably/detachably mounted in the vicinity of a liquid crystal display panel 3, the unit 4 can be mounted only at the time of requiring lighting, and when the cover 5a of a box-like case 5 is opened, light from a light source 6 is reflected by a mirror 8 stuck to the rear face of the cover 5a to illuminate the display face of the panel 3. Since a power supply terminal for a light source is connected to the power supply of the body 1 interlocking with the mounting operation of the unit 4, it is unnecessary to independently prepare a light source power supply. Consequently, an inexpensive word processor can be obtained.</p> |
