PURPOSE:To drive a plurality of nozzles by one driving system by coupling a plurality of coupling rods for transmitting force to a pressurizing chamber to a driving plate, disposing the coupling rods at the crests of the mode of the driving plate, and vibrating the driving plate by arbitrary frequency and arbitrary force. CONSTITUTION:Ink is supplied from an ink passage 4 to an ink pressurizing chamber 2, force of a drive source (piezoelectric element, etc.) 5 is transmitted to a diaphragm 3 to vary pressure or volume in the pressurizing chamber to form a droplet from a nozzle 1. Here, a plurality of coupling rods 6 for transmitting force to the pressurizing chamber 2 for pressuring or depressurizing the liquid are coupled to a driving plate 7, disposed at the crests of the mode of the driving plate 7 in a structure for vibrating the driving plate 7 in an arbitrary frequency and arbitrary force. In order to control the crest generating position of the mode at the driving plate 7, a deviation suppressing member is provided at the suitable position of the driving plate 7, and in order to further maintain the deviation amount of the crest of the mode to the driving plate 7, the driving plate 7 is formed symmetrically with respect to its center of gravity. The coupling rods 6 couple the diaphragm 3 to the driving plate 7, which transmits frequency and driving force from the drive source 5 though a driving rod 8. |
