TWO-DIMENSIONAL IMAGE SPECTROSCOPIC APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To observe the diffraction spectrum corresponding to a two-dimensional light image in real time with high sensitivity by emitting light to a light image detector for a two-dimensional image and a spectrum detector. CONSTITUTION:An objective lens system 20 is replaced to be inserted in a light path and converged light 29 is formed into an image as the real image of a light source 5 on an incident slit 1. The light image from the slit as a focus position is incident to a diffraction lattice 35 as parallel luminous flux by a collimation mirror 32. The dispersed light from the surface of said diffraction lattice 35 is incident to a photomultiplier tube 50 by a flat mirror 45 and taken out to the outside a the electric signal corresponding to the luminous intensity of the whole of a light image having frequency selected by the slit 38. This signal reaches an output terminal 59 through an amplifier 55 to be recorded and monitored by an external recording apparatus. As mentioned above, the observing the spectrum of specific frequency from the whole of the light image while the two-dimensional light image of an image monitor 75 is observed, two-dimensional spectrum analysis can be performed in real time with high sensitivity.
