A ground plate for dryers of bulk products has gas-conducting channels (3) consisting of a number of arbitrarily located openings (4) spaced from each other and stepped in their longitudinal cross-section. The end-face surface (8) of the step (9) of the larger cross-section of each opening (4) is inclined at an angle alpha equal to the angle alpha <1> of slope of the bulk material and faces by its narrower part the external surface of the ground plate (1). In each through opening (4) are mounted a protective insert (7) tightly adjoining the walls of the opening (4) and a plate (5). A gap (13) is formed between the lateral and the internal end-face surfaces of the plate (5), on the one hand, and the corresponding lateral surfaces of the protective insert (7) on the other hand.
