PURPOSE:To reduce in size and cost an inverter by displaying a plurality of malfunction states by one display means. CONSTITUTION:A whole inverter is composed of a power converter 2, a smoothing capacitor 3, a power inverter 4, etc., to drive the motor 4 of a load. Its control is executed by a logic circuit (microprocessor) 6a, an amplifier 7, etc. The logic circuit 6a outputs a malfunction content as a malfunction display signal corresponding to the content on the basis of detection signals from detectors 14-15. A light emitting diode 8a of display means operates to light corresponding to the content of the malfunction display signal. |
