PURPOSE:To give far larger conflicting area on each crest of the thicker ones of at least two sorts of tooth with different thickness by arranging them so as not to put the sames next to each other on a driven gear. CONSTITUTION:A gear A indicated by 11 having eight teeth which consist of respectively four teeth, the larger ones indicated by 11b and the smaller ones by 11c, which are alternately arranged with substantially equal spaces 11a are engaged with a gear B indicated by 12 which has forty eight teeth of the same shape. The limits of conflict of the gear A indicated by 11 in association with backlash turn E' of the gear B indicated by 12 are shown by the solid line and an image line. This apparantly shows that the conflict angle theta2 of the gear A indicated by 11 is far great in comparison with the ordinary ones. |
