In a process in which peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) or lymphocytes (PBL) are cultured to produce a population of cells which are cytotoxic for natural killer cell resistant tumour cells, the improvement comprises culturing a polpulation of cells selected from PBMC, PBL resulting from these, and lymphocytes obtd. from tumour tissue in a closed container made from a copolymeric film material having an oxygen permeability of at least 1.8 x 10 power 5 microm3 (STP) (m2. sec. Pa) and a thickness of 0.04-0.23 mm.
