PURPOSE:To improve purifying performance by installing a cylindrical honeycomb catalyst, having a larger diameter than that of a waste gas flowing pipe and a large number of holes which decline upwardly toward the outside from the inside and whose end parts in the down stream side are closed, in parallel to waste gas flowing out direction. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical honeycomb catalyst 3 having a larger diameter than that of a waste gas flowing pipe and a large number of holes which decline upwardly toward the outside from the inside and whose end parts in the down stream side are closed is installed in parallel to waste gas flowing out direction. As a result, the waste gas is captured almost perfectly and cleaned and at the same time heat returning to a combustion part is lowered so as to prevent adverse effect to the combustion part and a also heat radiation to the front side is increased, and as a result, a waste gas purifying apparatus having high heat radiation efficiency can be provided. |
