PURPOSE:To obtain the subject excellent drink agent, containing a smell reducing agent consisting essentially of ferrous sulfate and other compounds, capable of effectively inhibiting halitosis having generation sources not only in the body but also in the oral cavity for a long period by drinking thereof. CONSTITUTION:A drink agent obtained by dissolving various powders of smell reducing agents consisting essentially of 0.5-15wt.% ferrous sulfate and 99.5-85wt.% sodium bicarbonate in water and containing 1-15wt.% above- mentioned agents therein. Both substances may be simply dissolved in water and the above-mentioned drink agent can be readily produced. The aforementioned ferrous sulfate is used as a hematinic agent or iron powder adjuvant and the sodium bicarbonate is used as a gastrointestinal agent or baking powder without damaging human bodies and further effective in inhibiting halitosis, such as garlic, generated in the stomach. Furthermore, the aforementioned agent is capable of effectively inhibiting the halitosis which cannot be effectively inhibited by a conventional halitosis inhibiting gargling, halitosis preventive gums, candies, etc., simply by drinking thereof. |
