PURPOSE:To obtain a current type inverter device which can continue a stable operation even if a load becomes a light load or a no load operating state by providing a switching unit for switching a control selection signal according to a signal from a control mode discriminator, and a current intermittently interrupting mode. CONSTITUTION:An output frequency signal 12 and an output current signal 13 are compared with the lowest output current of an inverter device which can execute the commutating operation of a power inverter 4 at each operating frequency of a memory circuit 10 by a control mode discriminator 9. In case of (the output current signal 13)>(the lowest output current), a control mode selection signal 14 output from the control mode discriminator 9 is input to a forcibly commutation mode controller 6 through a switching unit 8 operating by the control mode discriminator 9. In case of (the output current 13)<=(the lowest output current), the control mode selection signal 14 output from the control mode discriminator 9 is input to a current continuation mode controller 7 through the switching unit 8. |
