PURPOSE:To avoid unnecessary printing on the boundary of video signals with good accuracy by providing a means which performs on a color video signal of a specific color a predetermined boundary detailed processing on the basis of the relation of the boundary between color video signals, and generates a specific detailed color video signal to a printer engine. CONSTITUTION:When both a red serial signal 17 and a black serial signal 18 are present, a delay clock 15 is selected for a flip-flop circuit 9 by a selector 11. Therefore, the phase of a red video signal 19 output from the circuit 19 is delayed 20nsec than that of a black video signal 20, and a red image is started to be written from the inner side than the area of a black image at the leading position of scanning. A reset signal 16 output by the relation among the delay clocks 14, 15 and black serial signal from a gate circuit 22 is input to reset a flip-flop circuit 10. Accordingly, the rear edge of the red video signal is turned off faster than the black video signal. |
