In a rolling contact bearing arrangement, particularly one with a two-row angular contact ball bearing (3), fixed in a housing bore by means of press-in adapters (1, 24), in which the outer race (4) has an expanded portion (5) in the region of each of the tracks (7) for the rolling elements, means to prevent the press-in adapter (1, 24) from moving out of the space between the outer race (4) and the housing (32) are provided. To provide a rolling bearing arrangement fixed by means of press-in adaptors (1, 24) which permits the transmission of high axial forces and prevents displacement of the individual parts in the axial direction when fully assembled, even in the case of unfavourable tolerances between the individual components (1, 4, 24, 32), the axial position of the press-in adaptors (1, 24) relative to the outer race (4) and/or that of the press-in adaptors (1, 24) relative to the housing (32) can be adjusted by means of positioning knobs (17, 25, 34, 39) which are arranged in positive engagement with the parts (1, 4, 24) of the rolling bearing arrangement and the housing (32) in the axial direction. <IMAGE>
