PURPOSE:To manufacture a battery in which a positive mix has no broken projection and has specified height by forming a unit cell by reforming the positive mix having projections on both sides. CONSTITUTION:A positive mix 1 having projections on both sides accommodated in a heat-shrinkable resin tube 5 together with a separator 3 and a negative plate 2 is reformed with a mold 8. The projection on the negative plate 2 side is made flat and the projection 1c on the other side is reformed so as to have a height of about 0.8mm. An electrolyte is poured on the mix if necessary and the tube 5 is shrunk by heating and a unit cell is obtained. By stacking unit cells, a layer built battery having no discharge performance deterioration or dispersion can be obtained. |
