The invention relates to a culture medium intended for the preidentification of bacteria which may infect urines. This medium, which contains in particular mannitol, is intended to be combined, on a support made from plastic material, with another medium containing a sugar different from mannitol. It provides an improvement in bacteria identification by direct examination of colonies which develop on both media.
