PURPOSE:To obtain an organic film, containing a polyether (derivative) having a perfluoroalkylene and amphiphatic compound, having lubricating and protective action and useful as magnetic recording media and heads. CONSTITUTION:The objective organic film containing (A) a polyether having a perfluoroalkylene and/or derivative thereof and (B) an amphiphatic compound, having >=30 deg.C melting point and including compounds preferably expressed by the formula [X is alkylene (having ether or ester bond); n+m is >=9 when the total carbon number is m; Z is hydrophilic group] and one or more of fatty acids, esters and alcohols.
