The invention relates to new (1->6) bonded oligosaccharides: <IMAGE> in which x is an integer ranging from 3 to 6, R<1> and R<2>, which are different, represent H or OH and R<3> is an amido or imido radical. These oligosaccharides may be prepared by dissolving the corresponding 2-acylamido- alpha -deoxy-hexose in hydrofluoric acid followed by a slow evaporation of the solution.
