The femoral implant for a hip prosthesis of the type having a shaft whose proximal end is formed for the fitting, in a detachable manner, of a shoulder capable of receiving a femoral head directly or added on, is distinguished by the fact that the end of the shaft 1 and the shoulder 2 have complementary arrangements capable of ensuring their variable angular positioning relative to each other, the said arrangements being formed so as not to obstruct their passage at the level of the greater trochanter. <IMAGE>
