The invention relates to a drying tunnel with a hot-air current. Its high air flow rate, making it possible to operate at low temperature, reduces the dimensional variations in the supports during drying. To this end, it is provided with a sheath G of large cross-section, outside the box structures with a first length 7 secured to the lower box structure 1, and in which are housed resistive heating elements 6, and a second length 8 secured to the upper box structure 2, continuing into this box structure by means of at least one air sleeve 16 made from a filtering material and acting as an air-calming means.
