PURPOSE:To individually detect an abnormality of each load by performing an comparatively easy processing logic for abnormality detection in the manner of providing one current detection means to the plural loads. CONSTITUTION:When switching means Tr1 in the abnormality detection circuit 2 of a copying machine, etc., are turned off, the electric power of a 1st power supply circuit 1 is not impressed on a feeder, and each of the loads 51-5n is not in the operation. With this condition, when the voltage of a 2nd power supply circuit 50 is outputted to the feeder by voltage impressing means D1 through impedance means R1 and individual electricity supply means 41-4n are all turned off, whether a short circuit is caused from machinery grounding in the loads 51-5n or used in the means 41-4n is decided by whether the detected voltage is zero or lower than the output voltage of the circuit 50. Also at this time, the means 41-4n are turned on one by one to compare the detected voltage with the prescribed voltage, and any one of the loads 51-5n is decided as disconnected when the detected voltage is larger than the prescribed voltage. In this case, also by means of comparing a voltage proportional to the detected voltage, the existence of abnormality for the loads 51-5n can be decided. |
