<p>PURPOSE:To promote fermentation, by using a specific N-acyllactam compound. CONSTITUTION:In promoting fermentation, an N-acyllactam compound represented by formula (wherein R is -CH2-, -CH2-CH2- or -CH=CH- and n is 3-5) is added to a methane fermentation tank in an amount of 0.01-0.1pts. wt. of 100pts.wt. of an org. substance. The N-acyllactam compound is obtained by the reaction of lactam and an acid anhydride or the direct reaction of lactam and acid chloride.</p> |
