The invention relates to a removable device which can be fitted to the opening of the boat (called hatchway) and making it possible to attach this boat to any support whatsoever or to make it unusable. It consists of two rigid sections 1 and 6 of different cross-sections sliding in one another. The section 1 includes at one of its ends a fork 2 intended to fit into the hatch coaming. It includes a groove 4 in which there slides a locking stud 5 fixed to the section 6. The section 6 also includes at one end a fork 8 allowing fitting into the other end of the hatchway. The section 1 includes holes 3 which correspond to the holes 7 in the section 6 at different settings, thus allowing the system to be locked at the desired length as a function of the dimensions and shape of the hatchway. It is sufficient therefore to insert, through the holes 3 and 7, a cable, chain or any other system ending in a lock. The two sections are therefore blocked and it is no longer possible to remove the device. The device according to the invention is more particularly intended to make boats of the canoe or kayak type tamper-proof or unusable. It is removable. <IMAGE>
