Machine and method for continuously producing panels, comprising the deposition of pulverulent material on a lower belt (5) arranged between two side belts (16, 17); supplying the material under an upper belt (12) passing between both side belts (16, 17); displacing the material imprisoned between the four belts (5, 12, 16, 17) in order to place the material in a pressure molding unit. The displacements of the belts (5-12) take place synchroneously step by step, when no pressure is exerted on the material, the pressure being applied when the belts (5-12) are stopped.
