The invention relates to a dot-matrix, light-emitting-diode display for construction of a large dot-matrix, light-emitting-diode display assembly. It constitutes improvements to the main patent FR-87/15.888. This display is noteworthy in that the control circuit is provided with an output channel and with an addresses stage in which an identification code is stored; in that the output channel may structurally be connected to the input channel and connected to the lines for connection between the input channel and the central processing unit CPU, and in that the identification code corresponds to a specific address of the memory of the computer, the software being designed in such a way that, at the moment at which the data accompanied by an address signal come from the computer, the display allows the data to be displayed on the light-emitting-diode display panel if this address signal coincides with the identification code. <IMAGE>
