CONSTITUTION:The transient oil pressure due to an electronic control means in the engagement of a frictional engaging device is fundamentally set according to the parameter for estimating the magnitude of the speed change shock, e.g. the value of the engine torque, etc., and a computer learning-corrects the method of the electronic control for the value of the parameter in the speed change afterwards, according to the detected speed change time. The lapse of a prescribed time after the start of speed change is detected, and the learning- correction is carried out according to the value of the determined parameter at the time point. Since the learning-correction is always carried out, having the parameter value at the equal time point in speed change as standard, the dispersion in the learning-correction can be suppressed to the min. Thus, the control of the always superior engagement transient oil pressure can be carried out.
