Screwing socket intended for guiding and tightening screws or nuts, of which the head of polygonal cross-section is covered with a protective layer consisting of lacquer, plastic, or a similar protection against rust, particularly for fixing cladding elements. The socket is made of a plastic which is strong whilst exhibiting a certain elasticity. It includes a rear part 1, intended for mounting on the spindle of a screwing machine and a front part 2, constituting the actual socket and including a recess 4 matched to the screw heads or nuts to be installed, the said recess including elastic means for immobilising the screw head or the nut. <IMAGE>
