PURPOSE:To prevent generation of shift of position in transferred picture by superposing a image sheet superposed on an image receiving sheet, on a base plate having a specified heat conductivity and regidity, superposing simultaneously a cover sheet on a side opposite to the base plate side of the both sheets, then carrying out a transfer treatment of a picture. CONSTITUTION:In a method for transferring a image by superposing a image sheet 1 having a image formed thereon on a image receiving sheet 2 and pressing or heating under a pressure, the image sheet 1 superposed on the image receiving sheet 2 is superposed on a base plate 3 having 1X10<-4> - 20X10<-4> cal.cm<-1>.sec<-1>.deg<-1> heat conductivity and sufficient rigidity. Simultaneously, a cover sheet 4 is superposed on a side opposite to the base plate 3 side, then a picture is transferred. Thus, a shift of the position of the transferred picture is prevented to a practically sufficient extent. |
