The device for removing silage from a moving silo has a loading scoop (22) which is fixed on a boom (23) which comprises at least two interconnected arms. The boom (23) is fixed on a cross beam of a gate-like frame which is to be fixed on the transport truck and has two side beams which extend from the cross beam. The boom can be swivelled sideways about a vertical axis (20) and up and down about a horizontal axis (21) or can be slid longitudinally on the cross beam and moved up and down about a horizontal axis (21). The front edge of the loading scoop (22) is designed as a cutter which is pref. concave. USE/ADVANTAGE - Silage removal device. The transverse mobility of the arm which supports the blade means that the blade can be narrower than before to produce narrow strips of silage without shifting the transport truck.
