A heating device (1) comprises a burner (2) and a heat exchanger (3). In one part (4) the heat exchanger (3) is fed hot combustion gases which flow downwards in a meandering fashion through a system, connected by means of a wall (9), composed of parallel gills (lamellae) (8, 8', 8'',...) and horizontal guide (baffle) walls (11, 11', 11'',...) and heat up the wall (9) and, in a part (5) of the heat exchanger (3) adjoining the wall (9) produce an upwardly directed counterflow of a heat transporting medium through a system composed of parallel ribs (12, 12' 12'',...) which are provided with obliquely extending guide walls (13, 13', 13'',...). The parts (4, 5) which guide the combustion gas and the heat transporting medium are produced, as is the common boundary wall (9), by extrusion from aluminium in one piece or in segments which can be assembled. <IMAGE> |
