<p>PURPOSE:To improve fixability in the maxillary part after implantation and to allow the long-term stable use of the artificial tooth root while dealing sufficiently with manducatory force by providing the circumference of the tooth root part with continuous projections and forming cut surfaces to these projecting parts in the axial direction of the tooth root part. CONSTITUTION:The cut surfaces 2 are molded in a thread part 1 in, for example, 4 ways in the axial direction X of the core material. The pitch, depth, number of the cut surfaces, etc., of the thread part 1 are properly selected according to the points to be implanted of the body. A recess 3 is formed to about the same height as the tooth height value of the thread part 1 and further a projecting part 4 is formed. The neonatal bone tissue intrudes into the recess 3 so that the recess 3 acts to prohibit the easy removal of the tooth root part. A material which has at least no detrimental effect on the living body, i.e. a hard material is used as the core material. A member 6 having affinity to the living body is applied on the tooth root part 01 exclusive of a denture- insertion part 02. The artificial tooth root is securely, chemically and mechanically fixed to the vital tissue in this way.</p> |
