PURPOSE:To perform positioning with high accuracy by forming a bearing as a magnetic bearing to support a rotary shaft in a non-contact state by a magnetic attractive force or repulsion. CONSTITUTION:The bearing is the magnetic bearing 6 to support the rotary shaft 10 in the non-contact state by the magnetic attractive force or the repulsion. Therefore, since a rotor 10 is rotated in the non-contact state, it can be rotated at high speed and stably without generating vibration according to the passage of a ball as in the case of using a ball bearing. Also, it is possible to accurately trace heads 9a and 9b on the track of a magnetic disk 8 by performing the control of the magnetic bearing 6 by a control signal on disks 7a and 7b. In such a manner, the positioning of the heads 9a and 9b on the track of the magnetic disk 8 can be performed with high accuracy.
