摘要 |
PURPOSE:To improve coercive force by using a Co alloy film formed by incorpo rating Cr into Co and further impressing a negative bias voltage to a substrate, thereby forming the film. CONSTITUTION:The Cr film is formed by a sputtering method on the nonmagnetic substrate and the Co alloy film is formed on the Cr film. The Co alloy film is epitaxially grown to produce the magnetic recording medium. The Co alloy film is the Co alloy film contg. at least the Cr and the negative bias voltage is impressed to the substrate during the formation of the Cr film and/or the Co alloy film contg. the Cr. The negative bias voltage to be impressed is preferably -100V to -400V. The coercive force is improved in this way. |
