PURPOSE:To prevent paper jam generated upon sucking of a single slip form and a continuous slip form by forcibly ending the sucking operation of the continuous slip form when the single slip form is detected on a single slip form conveying passage during paper sucking upon driving of a continuous slip form in a positive-line-feeding drive, driving a reverse-line-feed, and retreating the continuous slip form to the position of a tractor. CONSTITUTION:When a single slip form detection sensor 8 detects that a single slip form P1 exists on a single slip form conveying passage 6 during paper sucking of a platen 1 and a tractor 12 for forming paper feeding means in a positive line feeding drive of a continuous slip form P2, the sucking operation of the continuous slip form P2 by conveying means is forcibly finished, the paper feeding means is further reverse line feed-driven, and whether the continuous slip form P2 is retreated to the position of the tractor 12 to finish the reverse line feed drive or not is judged. If it is finished, this operation is ended. The fact that the single slip form P1 is not existed on the single slip form conveying passage 6 is judged, the positive line feeding drive of the continuous slip form P2 is continued, its end is pressed to the platen 1 by a bail roller 11, and then printing operation is started. |
