PURPOSE:To make the lateral width compact by driving a working machine such as a generator arranged below an engine with the engine horizontally arranged with a crank shaft in a box-shaped package via a reduction gear having eccentric input and output shafts. CONSTITUTION:An engine 14 and a generator 15 or the like are stored on a mount 17 in a nearly box-shaped package 10. The engine 14 is a vertical engine arranged with a crank shaft 14a in the nearly vertical attitude, a nearly cylindrical housing 31 is connected blow the engine 14, and the generator 15 is connected below the housing 31. A reduction gear 42 is stored in the housing 31, and it is of a gear type provided with an input shaft 44 connected to the crank shaft 14a of the engine 14 via a spline shaft 43 and an output shaft 45 eccentric on the cylinder head side of the engine 14. A generator shaft 15a is removably connected to the output shaft 45 via a rubber coupling 56. |
