PURPOSE:To enable heat fixing with low consumption of electric power and to prevent offsetting and paper jamming by using a binding material obtd. by heat-treating a mixture of substances having specified actions in the presence of a radial generator. CONSTITUTION:A latent image is developed with an encapsulated toner obtd. by coating a core material contg. a binding material and a coloring material with a shell material and the developed image on a recording material is heat- fixed with a prescribed fixing device to form an image. The binding material is obtd. by heat-treating a mixture of a hardness rendering component having 2-8kg/mm<2> Vickers hardness measured by a prescribed method with a releasability rendering component having 15-40dyn/cm critical surface tension at 20 deg.C and a fixability rendering component having 0.1-50kg/mm<2> compression modules in the presence of a radical generator such as a desired org. peroxide.
