ANTIGEN AND IMMUNOCHEMICAL MEASUREMENT METHOD USING THIS ANTIGEN

PURPOSE:To measure both alpha-hANP and alpha-gammaANP and to apply the same to various kinds of tests by using an antibody which recognizes the amino acid sequence in the prescribed position in the cyclic region of alpha-ANP and an antibody, the antigenic determination section of which does not overlap on the above-mentioned antibody. CONSTITUTION:The antibody A which recognizes the amino acid sequence on the C terminal side from Asp in the cyclic region of the alpha-ANP recognizes a part or the whole of the amino sequence from the 13th amino acid Asp to the 23rd amino acid Cys of the alpha-ANP. The antibody B, the antigenic determination section of which does not overlap on the antibody to be used in the immunochemical measurement method for ANPs recognizes about 10 pieces of the amino acid sequences in the C terminal region of the alpha-ANP. As a result, the active sections of the ANPs (alpha-hANP or alpha-gammaANP) are exactly recognized and the measurement with the high sensitivity and high reliability are enabled.
