PURPOSE:To reduce errors in finding a range and simultaneously to shorten the range finding time by providing a drive control means which shifts the modulation phases of plural projecting means and simultaneously drives them. CONSTITUTION:The drive control means 6, 7a, 7b and 9 are provided which shifts the modulation phases of plural projecting means and drive them simultaneously. By shifting the modulation phases, that is, the light-up timing, fluctuation in the driving energy of the projecting means is minimized, and by simultaneously driving them, the range finding time is prevented from becoming longer. Consequently, errors in finding a range can be reduced to shorten the range finding time. |
