<p>PURPOSE: To provide an actuator for moving a slider by providing this slider containing a permanent magnet, an electromagnet, and a ferromagnetic mass. CONSTITUTION: When a coil 14 of an actuator 10 is supplied with an electric power for excitation, an electromagnet 12 applies a permanent magnet 36 of a slider 28 with a force in axis-line direction, thereby the permanent magnet 36 repulses against the electromagnet in the direction from a core 18 of the electromagnet 12, with the slider moving to a second position. In order for reducing a repulsion (or electric power) obtained from the electromagnet 12, a ferromagnetic mass 38 of soft magnetism is assigned near the second position of the slider 28. Although the permanent magnet 36 is attracted to the ferromagnetic mass 38, the attracting force is combined with the repulsion supplied from the electromagnet 12 to move the slider 27 to the second position. The slider 28, a sale movable part of the actuator, is high in operation reliability and also resistance against various severe environment condition.</p> |
