The clutch end includes an internal ring (3) made up of two elements (1) and (2) and covered by an outer cover (4). The balls run on the inner element (1) on the inside and on the inner side of the outer cover on the outside. The ball cage (7) is shaped to fit inside the cover. The assembly is closed by an outer plug (9) which fits inside the cover (4). A final noise attenuating and antifretting cover (11) is fitted to the assembly. This outer covering obviates the use of a pressure fit into the housing and the consequent deformation of the metal.
