PURPOSE:To adjust variations of gas sensitive elements over a wide range by a device wherein the connection point of a serially connected circuit of a gas sensitivie element and a resistor is used as an output point, and given voltage is applied to the connection point. CONSTITUTION:A serially connected circuit of a resistor 11 and a gas sensitive element 5 is connected between both terminals of a power supply source 1. From a terminal (a) of this connection point, voltage change output is taken out which depends on a change in resistance of the gas sensitive element 5. A serially connected circuit of a variable resistor 15 and a power supply source 8 is connected to the terminal (a), so that the voltage corresponding to output voltage V0 at which characteristic curves of different gas sensitive elements A, B, C cross with one another is applied to the terminal (a). In this way, by adding the voltage V0 to the output voltage of the gas sensitive element, the output characteristic with respect to the gas concentration is varied with the point P being as the original, causing the respective characteristic curves to be coincident with one another. Thus, it becomes possible to adjust variations of the gas sensitive elements over a wide range. |
