PURPOSE:To reduce the load of a power supply and to give no influence to the operations of a video circuit and a recording system as well as the operation of an auto-focus mechanism by controlling the drive of the auto-focus mechanism and the drive of the recording system of a spindle motor, etc., in the prescribed sequence. CONSTITUTION:When a focusing action is through with use of an auto-focus mechanism, either one or both of the power supplies of a recording medium drive mechanism and a video process circuit are turned on. Therefore the power supply of the drive mechanism of a recording medium like a floppy disk, etc., and the power supply of the video process circuit are turned on when a focus control action is over with use of the auto-focus mechanism. Thus both the auto-focus mechanism and the drive mechanism of the recording medium are never driven at one time. Then the power voltage produce no large fluctuation. |
