PURPOSE:To attain rapid fault cause investigation utilizing a fault tree (FT) drawing by storing information necessary for the formation of the FT drawing and other diagnosis in a storage device as an FT drawing data base. CONSTITUTION:When a fault is generated in an equipment, the equipment to be diagnosed and its range are commanded from a terminal equipment 3. As the result, a diagnosis control means 14 is driven, necessary information are read from the FT drawing data base 20, an FT drawing forming means 11 is driven to form the FT drawing and the FT drawing is outputted to an FT drawing output means 12 and displayed on a display device 4. Simultaneously, the investigation method or the like of each corresponding event is also displayed. The investigated and decided results of each executed event are inputted to the terminal equipment 3 based upon the displayed contents. An FT drawing diagnostic means 13 executes diagnosis from the inputted investigated and decided results and the logical flow of the FT drawing and collectively displays the event relating to the cause of the fault, the indication of the apparatus concerned and a necessary processing method on the display device 4. |
